Jason is heir to the throne but has been banned by the murderer of his father. Assisted by the gods and together with his army, he starts looking for the ‘Gulden Vlies’. During this quest, he is confronted with a whole series of monsters. Clever special effects of Ray Harryhausen, expert in the “stop motion” technique, create a world full of mythological creatures.
